The quickest free way is the Demystify Business Registry (Early access): searching it and reading company pages needs no sign-up. City pages list the businesses registered in the last 30 days, and every fact on a company page names the official register it came from: the Ministry of MSME's Udyam registrations, published on data.gov.in, or the Ministry of Corporate Affairs' company master data.
Newly registered businesses, city by city
The registry covers ten priority cities. Each city page lists the businesses registered there in the last 30 days, newest first, with the registration date, activity and locality; the registry home shows which cities have recent registrations right now.
- New businesses in Bengaluru (Karnataka)
- New businesses in Mumbai (Maharashtra)
- New businesses in Delhi (Delhi)
- New businesses in Hyderabad (Telangana)
- New businesses in Chennai (Tamil Nadu)
- New businesses in Kolkata (West Bengal)
- New businesses in Noida (Uttar Pradesh)
- New businesses in Bhubaneswar (Odisha)
- New businesses in Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh)
- New businesses in Chandigarh (Chandigarh)
Search by name, CIN or LLPIN
On the registry search, name search covers newly registered businesses for now. Any company or LLP registered with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs can be found by its CIN or LLPIN; check the number against the certificate of incorporation if a lookup finds nothing.
What a company page shows, and what it never does
A page states only what an official register says, with the source next to each fact. A Udyam (MSME) page shows the business name, registration date, activity and locality, and never a street address, phone number or email. There are no ratings, reviews or opinions about any business.
